MANILA – The producers of the film “Mia” have decided to donate the net proceeds of Friday’s screening to those affected by the Taal Volcano eruption.

Coleen Garcia, who plays the titular character, made the announcement on Instagram.

Sharing a photo of her with co-star Edgar Allan Guzman and a copy of the statement released by Insight 360 and Viva Films, she said: “If you guys want to watch ‘Mia,’ please try to watch today!”

“All net proceeds of today’s screenings (Friday) will be donated to the victims of the Taal eruption. Just want to thank our producers for this,” she added.
