MANILA – The two Nitro Circus shows in Manila originally scheduled on January 19 and 20 have been moved to August, organizers said Wednesday.
In a statement posted on the Facebook page of Mall of Asia Arena, which serves as the venue for the shows, Nitro Circus had to postpone its Philippine tour “due to the devastating effects of tropical storm Urduja.”
“Given the storm’s impact, the production team is unable to ship the ramps and other necessary equipment in time to stage these performances,” said Kurt Nicoll, vice president for global touring of Nitro Circus.
The shows have now been rescheduled for August 4 and 5 still at the Mall of Asia Arena.
“Patrons should hold on to their tickets as all tickets for the original January shows will be honored at the rescheduled dates,” the statement said.
Nitro Circus is known for delivering “the biggest and best mind-blowing cross-platform entertainment for daredevils and risk-taking wannabes,” according to its website.
Its shows feature dirt bikes, base jumping, and performing stunts, to name a few.
