WATCH: Poe vs Duterte: Focus on women

Senator Grace Poe on Sunday asked Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte about the role of women should he be elected as president.

In the face-off round during the PiliPinas 2016 Presidential Town Hall Debate, Poe asked Duterte what the role of women will be in his administration.

"Mayroon po kayong interview sa isang magazine na sinabi niyo na women are the weaker sex. At alam na natin 'yung bago mong pronouncement na sinasabi na dapat nauna ang mayor, at noong may isang nagreklamo ng rape, sabi niyo drama queen. Ano po ang kahihinatnan ng babae sa inyong administration," he said.

Duterte then explained the pro-women programs he implemented in Davao City.

"In Davao City, Ma'am, we're the first city to come up with a women's code. Davao City is the only city na ang police department, walang vice squad. I have this mandate because they used to arrest commercial sex workers."
