Fast talk: Duterte on drugs, Martial Law, Marcos burial

ABS-CBN News

Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte on Sunday expressed his view on different issues, including a hero's burial for former President Ferdinand Marcos, the possibility of declaring Martial Law, and his main campaign contributor.

In the fast-talk round of the PiliPinas 2016 Presidential Town Hall Debate on Sunday, debate moderator Karen Davila asked Duterte these questions:

Q: Magandang ehemplo ba kayo sa kabataan?
A: Yes. I restored public order in my city and everybody is safe.

A: Tourism. If she is really bright, Finance. Any position.

Q: Name your top campaign contributor. Sino siya?
A: Nasa bukid, Ma'am. Emilio Aguinaldo, I think.

Q: Sabi niyo po, 'You cannot be a president if you cannot kill.' Papatay ba kayo kung kayo ay pangulo?
A: Talaga. No, it's not the actual. Takot kang mamatay, takot kang pumatay, 'wag kang magpresidente.

A: Rebellion, lawless violence.

Q: So posible ang Martial Law sa panunungkulan niyo?
A: No, that can't be.

A: Yes. Definitely yes because it has divided the country until now. It's time to heal.

It was a response to a question coming from media. It was a concocted, hypothetical question and I was only replying to it.

A: Patayin mo.

A: Wala. Everybody is okay. My order is, even if it is a member of my family, kill him.
