MANILA - Vice presidential candidate Senator Francis "Chiz" Escudero on Wednesday said there is still hope for him and running mate, Senator Grace Poe, since many voters remain "soft and undecided."

An ABS-CBN survey conducted by Pulse Asia last April 26 to 29 showed Liberal Party (LP) candidate Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo gaining more ground in the vice presidential race. The survey had 4,000 respondents.

Robredo received 30% voter support, sharing the lead with Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr, who got 28%.

Escudero, who used to lead in pre-election surveys, placed third with 18%.

Poe placed third in the presidential race with 21%, behind Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte (33%) and administration standard bearer Mar Roxas (22%).

"Sinumang nasa range, dapat tingnan at ikonsiderang seryosong kalaban. Ang soft voters at undecided ay malaking bilang pa rin, 20 percent. Hindi rason para mawalan ng loob ang sinumang dehado," said Escudero.

"Ang sa amin, paano magagawa na pagdating ng May 9, sa pag-ikot ng gulong, ikaw ang nasa taas at hindi nasa baba."

Amid intrigues that members of the Partido Galing at Puso are going separate ways in recent sorties, Escudero said it is only normal that they campaign in areas where they are weakest.

"Sa huling dalawang linggo, nagpupunta ang kandidato saan man sila dapat magpunta, kung saan sila mahina," he said. "Kung pinatutukuyan ay isyu, wala kaming isyu. Once and for all, walang pag-aaway, walang bangayan o sigawan."

Escudero, meanwhile, posted a copy of his Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net worth (SALN) on his official Facebook page.

"As per tradition, we are uploading the latest Statement of Assets Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN) of Senator Chiz," the Facebook post read. "Included, as usual, is his waiver."

The online post contains five photos showing pages of Escudero's SALN, indicating his net worth of P5.8 million. The SALN lists the senator's houses and lots in Quezon City and Sorsogon and other personal properties.

The Facebook post also contains a copy of a waiver signed by Escudero on April 27, 2016 that waives his right to the Bank Secrecy Law to allow the Ombudsman to look into his accounts and other assets.

According to Escudero, his SALN had no significant changes because he had a pre-nuptial agreement with his wife, Heart.
