PANGASINAN-- Excitement is palpable in Dagupan, Pangasinan, the venue of the final face-off of the five presidential candidates.

Security is also tight at the University of Pangasinan, where 2016 hopefuls Jejomar Binay, Miriam Defensor-Santiago, Rodrigo Duterte, Grace Poe, and Manuel Roxas will go head-to-head in the last Commission on Elections (Comelec) debate Sunday.

Groups from all over Pangasinan and nearby provinces are cheering for their respective bets while clad in their candidates' campaign colors. Large tarpaulins can be seen at the vicinity of the debate venue, while campaign jingles rang in every corner.

Rallyists also took the chance to air their grievances.

Online, netizens are also expressing excitement over the presidential debates. Some are expecting heated exchanges while others want to see who will win this round.

For some, the debate will also help voters decide who to vote for.

The debate will carry a townhall format, where people will be allowed to ask the candidates about pressing issues.

Candidates will bare platforms and stand on issues before a live audience, in a program aired on ABS-CBN Channel 2, simulcast on cable channel ANC and radio dzMM. Livestreaming is also available on NEWS.ABS-CBN.COM (http://news.abs-cbn.com/livE) and iWantTv. The debate is in partnership with Manila Bulletin and the KBP.
