Hecklers who interrupted vice presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos as he was about to introduce himself were escorted out of the venue during the first vice presidential debate in the University of Santo Tomas on Sunday.

Members of the Youth Alliance Against the Return of the Marcoses started shouting "Never again to Martial Law" as Marcos started introducing himself.

Marcos' supporters also started chanting words of support for their candidate to drown out the hecklers.

The hecklers were eventually escorted out of the venue by security personnel.

Other groups are also holding an anti-Marcos rally outside UST.
