The region of a country/territory is based on its geographical location (e.g., Guam has been included in the Asia Pacific region. But in the country classification, Guam has been included as part of the USA).
Asian countries that are not in the Middle East have been included in the Asia Pacific region.
The territories and administrative regions as classified by Comelec have been included as part of the countries where these territories and administrative regions belong. For example, Guam has been included as part of the USA.
