MANILA, Philippines - The Commission on Elections is looking at the possibility of Internet voting for Filipinos overseas.
Comelec chairman Sixto Brillantes says while the number of people who registered for overseas voting went up, the actual voting rate has dropped.
Brillantes explained many voters find it difficult to travel to the nearest Philippine consulate to vote.
He noted they can issue a resolution to allow online voting but the process can be questioned, since the law specifies the manner of voting. - ANC
