LONDON - Members of The Kingdom of Jesus Christ in London celebrated the birthday of the ‘Appointed Son,’ Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, at Marriott Hotel on George St., London on Sunday.

Members were glued to the projector screen watching the recorded feed of the celebration at the New Jerusalem in Davao City. Quiboloy’s birthday was also dubbed by the Kingdom nation as the 5th National Children’s day. On this day, the Sonshine land was transformed to merriment land for the feeding and entertainment of thousands of poor children.

The Kingdom members in London offered a birthday song for their self-appointed leader, prepared food and booked the whole day to celebrate Quiboloy’s birthday.

The first part of the celebration was at the hotel and towards the afternoon, they moved to a residential house for more food and for access to the continuous live feed of the program and party beamed via Sonshine TV.

Members were informed in advance that the date of Quiboloy’s proclamation of God’s chosen leader for the Philippines is moved from April 25 to May 2 because he wanted to focus on the children and not on politics during his birthday.

Intercession of 3 mothers

Kingdom members said Quiboloy had made public the visions he encountered with 3 mothers asking him to bless their presidential bets. He revealed during the March 14 preaching at The Kingdom of Jesus Christ Cathedral that the intercessions were by 3 mothers dear to him.

On his account, the first vision came on December 28 where the late former President Cory Aquino asked him if he could bless his son, presidential aspirant Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III.  On January 25, he had another vision with his late mother, Maria Quiboloy. She asked him to bless presidentiable Sen. Manuel “Manny” Villar. In both visions, he said his reply was ‘I will pray.’

On February 5, another mother appeared to him. But this time it was not a vision but in the flesh. The mother that he refused to name asked him to bless administration bet Gilbert ‘Gibo’ Teodoro, to which he replied, ‘I will pray Ma’am.’

Will of the Father

The Kingdom members believe that Quiboloy's endorsement will solely depend on God.

“So yung announcement po, maghintay lang po tayo because what the Father will reveal to the Appointed Son ay malalaman din po natin. Nagpapasalamat po tayo sa buhay na ama at nagpapasalamat tayo na nakadalo kayo sa ating worship-presentation,” said Alexis Baligod at the concluding part of the celebration at Marriott Hotel.

Obediently waiting

A source close to key Kingdom members in London told ABS-CBN Europe News Bureau that some members have already cast their votes for the month-long Overseas Absentee Voting, which started on April 10 and have voted for presidential candidate Teodoro.

But London head coordinator Jessie Sambo denied they have already voted and said that to this date, they are obediently waiting for Quiboloy’s ‘proclamation’ which is a week delayed.

“Hindi pa confirmed yan (Teodoro). Naghihintay pa rin. Hindi pa naman ako bumuboto. Siyempre naghihintay kasi sa pakikiisa nga,” said Sambo.
The UK Kingdom of Jesus Christ chapter is also now preparing for Quiboloy’s visit in London on May 22.
