HOLLYWOOD – Two Filipino-American actresses are making a name for themselves in Hollywood.

For the past two years, Ellen D. Williams has been popping out on the hit CBS show "How I Met Your Mother".

In a previous interview, the actress talked about playing Patrice, her ever cheerful character has become a fan favorite.

In this week's episode, it was revealed that she has become a radio show host who's somehow connected to one of the show's lead character, Robin Scherbatsky.

"Like super nice, super awesome but for some reasons I get on your nerves and I think people just relate to that kind of character. It was also a big help of the character that Cobie (Smulders) plays Robin Scherbatsky, you know just having that phrase 'Nobody asked Patrice,' it just caught on and became this big blow up kind of thing," she said.

Another Fil-Am actress, Ashley Argota, was excited to announce to her fans on Twitter that come June, she will be a part of the cast of the second season of ABC Family's "The Fosters".

The TV drama's family theme is something close to Argota's heart. The hardworking Fil-Am young star always credited her mom for supporting her dream.

"My mom is amazing. I have to get up early to come and work. She also gets up with me every single time I have something and she comes with me. My mom is just the best person in the entire world," she said.

Later this year Argota will also appear in the Disney movie "How to Build A Better Boy".
