MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said some of its mall-based satellite offices in the National Capital Region will have consular services on January 17 (Saturday).
The following mall-based DFA Satellite Offices -- DFA NCR – Central, Robinsons Galleria; DFA NCR - Northeast, Ali Mall;
DFA NCR - East, SM Megamall and DFA NCR – South, Metro Gaisano Alabang will be open on January 17.
However, the DFA Aseana (at Macapagal Boulevard) and DFA NCR-West (SM Manila) will remain closed on January 17, due to its proximity to areas with activities related to the visit of Pope Francis.
Proclamation No. 936, s. 2014, declared 15, 16, and 19 January 2015 as special non-working days in the NCR in light of the activities surrounding the Papal visit in the Philippines.
The DFA had earlier announced DFA Aseana and all mall-based DFA offices in the NCR will be closed on January 15, 16, and 19.
They will also be closed on January 18 (Sunday).
