These interactive map and graphs show the number of votes garnered by each of the 2016 presidential candidates in previous elections in all the provinces in the country, including the cities and municipality in Metro Manila. Also shown are the votes garnered by the candidates’ closest family members who ran for national posts (i.e., the late Fernando Poe Jr. in 2004 and Sen. Nancy Binay in 2013). Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte is not included in this data set because he had not run for any national post in previous elections.
The percentage of votes cast for each candidate per province relative to the total number of votes garnered by the candidate nationwide is also computed to show which provinces drove the votes for the candidate for a particular election year.
