In the most recent draft, the transitory provision states that within 6 months from ratification of the Constitution, there must be an election for the Transition President and Vice President in addition to the Federal Transition Commission.
The Transition President and Vice President shall be ineligible to run for any public office in the May 2022 elections, according to the latest document.
