The City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Department (CDRRMC) of Cagayan de Oro has released an overview of areas that were submerged following Monday's heavy downpour.
Most of the areas in red are roads and highways that are near creeks and canals that overflowed after hours of continuous heavy rains.
The flash flood, brought about by a low pressure area and the tail-end of a cold front over Visayas and Mindanao, drove hundreds of residents to evacuation centers and left thousands more stranded.
As of Tuesday, CM Recto, one of the areas badly flooded yesterday, is now passable.
