MANILA -- Actress Yam Concepcion turned to social media to share her appreciation for her friends and family who recently threw a baby shower for her. 

In an Instagram post, Concepcion shared a carousel of snaps from the event which was organized by the family of her husband, Miguel Cunnjieng.

"Just when I thought my mom-in-law couldn’t get any more amazing, she (threw) the sweetest and most thoughtful baby shower for us," the actress wrote in the caption. 

According to Concepcion, she and her husband appreciate the efforts of their family who made all the handmade gifts and goodies even for gracing the party with them in New York City.  

"(So) overwhelming to see all of the effort going into both this weekend and all of the handmade gifts and goodies that made it to New York!!! Mig and I are grateful for all (the) family and friends who made it special, no matter the distance," she said.

Concepcion and Cunnjieng first met in 2012 and have been in a long-distance relationship since 2015. The couple tied the knot in New York in July of 2021.

In July 2024, the couple announced on social media that they were expecting their first child after three years of their marriage.
