MANILA -- Stars Heaven Peralejo and Marco Gallo graced the premiere of their new movie, "Men Are From QC, Women Are From Alabang," on Tuesday night at SM North EDSA.

The red carpet event provided a platform for the stars to share their thoughts on the film and their experiences working together.

During an interview at the premiere, Peralejo expressed her admiration for the director, Gino Santos, stating: "We’re just so happy na si Direk Gino 'yung direktor namin kasi hindi lalabas 'yung galing namin ni Marco kung hindi dahil sa kanya. Noong pinanood namin 'yung film kahapon, it was so beautiful and we’re just so proud of this film.”

(We're just so happy that Direk Gino is our director because our excellence, Marco and I, wouldn't have shone through without him. When we watched the film yesterday, it was so beautiful, and we're just so proud of this film.)

Having previously worked on separate projects, Peralejo and Gallo found a unique synergy in this film.

When asked about the difference in this project, Gallo said: "It's something they haven't seen before; it's a real story that I think a lot of people will relate to."

Director Gino Santos echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the "relatability" of the film's storyline.

He said, "Many will relate to this. I mean, if you work 9-5, stuck in traffic, not sure if you want to fall in love or focus on your career, this is the movie for you."

Reflecting on their collaboration, Peralejo and Gallo shared insights into their partnership.

Peralejo revealed that they push each other for the better, a dynamic she considers unique on-screen.

She emphasized the special connection they share, highlighting the growth and mutual support they have experienced while working together.

"Men Are From QC, Women Are From Alabang" revolves around a couple from Quezon City and Alabang who have been in a relationship since their college days, overcoming challenges such as distance and other obstacles.

However, as they enter the workforce, they find that the demands of the "real world" are driving them further apart.

The movie is set to premiere in theaters beginning on May 1st.
