MANILA - Actress-socialite Heart Evangelista and husband Senator Francis "Chiz" Escudero will be renewing their vows to mark their 9th wedding anniversary this month.

The renewal of vows will be held in Balesin island where they got married in 2015.

Aside from the renewal of vows, Evangelista will also be celebrating her birthday. The actress will be turning a year older this February 14, Valentine's Day.

In a report published by Philippine Star, Evangelista, 38, told members of the media during the launch of her newest endorsement that the renewal of vows is "meaningful" for their marriage.

"I feel like as a married couple, it’s really meaningful for us to have this moment,” Evangelista said.

“It’s going to be very special for me because I thought I knew what love was. But now I know what love should be. And so I, I feel like I’m getting married actually for the first time again,” she added.

According to the actress, the gathering will be intimate and would be attended by their family and friends.

In a previous interview with ABS-CBN News, Evangelista said "yes" when asked if she and Escudero are soulmates. She also shared that she's "so blessed" to marry Escudero.
