MANILA, Philippines - Actress-host Kris Aquino, dubbed as the country's "Queen of All Media", is open to the idea of joining politics, just like most members of her family.

Aquino is the youngest sister of President Benigno Aquino III, and the daughter of two late democracy icons -- President Corazon Aquino and Senator Benigno Aquino Jr.

While she considers politics as a "career path," Aquino said she will only get into it under two strict conditions.

"Yes, it's obviously a career path, but I'll only get into it if I know, Boy, that I'll be number one," she told "The Buzz" host Boy Abunda on Sunday. "'Di ba, sorry, ganoon 'di ba, nakakahiya naman kung hindi, 'di ba?"

"And pangalawa, kung talagang sobrang selfless na ako at hindi na ako maluho," she added.

Aquino believes that she already has some of the traits of a good politician, such as the ability to get along with different people and being industrious, as brought about by her career in showbiz.

But the actress-host is also known for her lavish lifestyle, something that she said still needs to be "fixed."

"Kasi kaya ko naman talaga 'yung pakikitungo sa tao, pakikisama. 'Yung sipag, I have that. I don't have the simplicity yet. And I think to be a really good public servant, you need to be simple," explained Aquino, who is one of the country's highest paid celebrities.

Last July, Aquino cleared speculations that she will run for public office next year. The actress-host, who has separated from basketball player James Yap, is legally prohibited from marrying a government official.
