Neophyte actor Christian Bables was at a loss for words after winning the Metro Manila Film Festival's Best Supporting Actor for his role as the trans best friend to Paolo Ballesteros' lead character in "Die Beautiful."
During his acceptance speech, Bables struggled to complete his sentences as he tried to express his gratitude towards those who believed that he could make a career in acting. He also admitted that he was close to giving up on his dream if it weren't for the people he mentioned.
Bables could not hold back his tears when he gave a shoutout to his mother. In tears, he said: "At sa mommy ko.
