Well, this certainly puts a new meaning to the phrase 'to poke fun.'
Jason Momoa, star of "Aquaman," was spotted playfully pretending to attack a newlywed couple with a toy trident on a beach in Hawaii -- a result of an unplanned pictorial to feature the actor.
The story of how it happened goes that the couple was holding their post-wedding photoshoot when their party just happened to spot Momoa, who was in Hawaii for the premiere of his new movie.
In an interview with E!, Carina Cooper, the couple's wedding planner, shared that it was all "totally unplanned and spontaneous."
She recalled that Momoa, who was born in Hawaii, were shouting his congratulations to them when their photographer jumped the gun and asked if he would want to be part of the shoot.
Momoa said yes and the results were as fun as one would imagine when including the superhero --more so because there was a kid who had a toy trident with him that the DC Comics movie star borrowed.
"I was like, 'you have creative freedom,' and he did his own thing in the photos. We had no idea what it was going to look after but it was hilarious," said Cooper.
