MANILA, Philippines - Aaron Atayde, UAAP (University Athletic Association of the Philippines) Studio 23 courtside reporter, is open to joining the world of show business “if something opens up.”

Atayde, 23, said it “would be stupid” not to consider any opportunity that will come his way, adding that he is willing to reinvent himself.

"If an avenue opens up, I would be stupid not to consider no matter what avenue it is. I haven't been in the business for that long, probably about 2 and a half years. I know that everything has a life span. If something opens up, then go. I'm still young. I can make mistake," Atayde said.

Once he becomes an actor, Atayde said he will love to work with Denise Laurel and Cristine Reyes.

On Laurel, Atayde said: “I've hosted with her a couple of times and I've known her for 5 or 6 years already."

Reyes, on the other hand, is “absolutely gorgeous,” he said.

"Cristine 'The Dream' Reyes. Wala dream lang… hands down, she is absolutely gorgeous," Atayde said.

Atayde will host Studio 23's upcoming 2-minuter show called "Quick E.”

He said it is a show that features everything under the sun like entertainment, sports and electronics.

The young sportscaster, also known as Josh Strike of Magic Radio 89.9, said he accepted the job because he is a self-confessed "geek" and loves to talk about anything. –Reyma Buan-Deveza, abs-cbnNEWS.com
