MANILA - Two teenage singers from the team of Sarah Geronimo went head-to-head for the Battle Rounds of "The Voice of the Philippines" on an episode aired Saturday.

Demie Fresco, a 16-year-old who hails from Sultan Kudarat, was paired with Naga native Rosalyn Navarro, 19, for the second round of the singing competition.

The two performed Celine Dion & Barbara Streisand's "Tell Him."

"Na-impress ako sa inyo pareho. Kay Demie nandooon na eh. What if kung may experience ka pa sa pagtanda mo? Excited ako sa kung ano pa ang puwede mong mabigay," Geronimo told Fresco.

The pop star added: "Rosalyn, 'yung kulay ng boses mo. That's one of the reasons kung bakit ako umikot sa iyo during the Blind Auditions."

Geronimo eventually picked Fresco, who will be moving on the Knockout Rounds of the competition. She joins former Rivermaya vocalist Jason Fernandez, Jason Dy and Monique Lualhati.
