MANILA -- It will definitely be a merry Christmas for celebrity couple Ryan Agoncillo and Judy Ann Santos, who is due to give birth during the festive holiday season.
"The real date given by the doctor is December 31, so kapag tsumamba 'Happy New Year' or 'Merry Christmas' or the last baby of 2015," Agoncillo said Wednesday after the press launch of his upcoming show "Cash Cab Philippines," which will air on cable channel AXN.
But Agoncillo noted that their son Lucho was born one week before the due date. "So right now we are ready anytime," he said.
Agoncillo added that they might have to spend the the holidays at a hospital to wait for the arrival of their baby girl, Juana Luisa, whose nickname will be Luna.
"We're probably not gonna do the whole fireworks thing and the whole preparing for dinner thing. Baka mag-check in na lang kami, kung hindi sa hotel, sa hospital," he said.
Agoncillo revealed that it was Santos who broached the idea to have a third child, after Yohan and Lucho.
"They say that the third child is the game-changer," he said. "So we are preparing for that."
Cash Cab Philippines
Meanwhile, Agoncillo announced that "Cash Cab Philippines" will going have a double premiere -- on December 22 and December 24. AXN is seen on SkyCable channel 49.
The Cash Cab appears like a regular taxi and will navigate the busy streets of Manila to pick passengers who will become contestants on a mobile game show.
As the show's host, Agoncillo will actually drive passengers to their destination, while asking them trivia questions.
The contestants have only three strikes before they are booted out of the cab. The contestants will also have two "shout outs" for help as they can either call a friend or ask a random stranger for the answer.
