At the sidelines of the 2012 Ala Eh Festival in Tanauan, Batangas, the province's governor said she is open to doing the planned film, but with certain conditions.
"Sana po someday, sana, sinong may ayaw? Gusto ko rin," Santos told ABS-CBN News on Friday. "Sabi ko nga, importante lang 'yung good script, at the same time, 'yung right timing."
In June this year, Cannes award-winning director Brillante Mendoza confirmed plans to bring together Santos and Aunor for a film, which will also star Kapamilya actor Coco Martin.
Mendoza's latest film, the internationally acclaimed "Thy Womb", stars Aunor. It is among the 8 film entries in the upcoming 38th Metro Manila Film Festival.
While Santos pointed to her being public servant as her top priority at present, she is certain that the "right time" to co-star with Aunor will come.
"Kung magkakaroon ng pagkakataon, why not? Excited ako gumawa ng pelikula kasama ang kumare ko. I'm sure darating 'yun," Santos said.
