Christmas may be two weeks away, but some Filipino acts will be looking to bring some early smiles to their fans as they compete in grand finals of "Asia's Got Talent," scheduled for Thursday night.

DMX Comvalenoz, from Compostela Valley, received a rousing reception for their highly entertaining, flip-heavy routine in the semifinals, leading to them being the judges' pick from their batch.

"You are not in the banking business. You are clearly in showbusiness," David Foster told the group.

The other grand finalist from the Philippines is Neil Rey Garcia Llanes, who was voted in by fans. This is Llanes second time joining the talent contest, following his decision to drop out of the first season to finish his studies.

He earned his spot after showcasing another beatboxing masterclass. "You said that this is your medicine. It's the best medicine. It's unbelievable. You killed it," Foster told him after his semifinals turn.

One more Filipino act will be gunning for a place in the finals, and they are Urban Crew, who stormed the semifinals stage last week with their ninja-themed routine.

Whether they make it nor not, fans will find out in Thursday's episode.

Should one of the three win, it will mark back-to-back titles for acts from the Philippines after El Gamma Penumbra took home the first season title back in 2015.
