MANILA - "Halik', the record-smashing teleserye on ABS-CBN, is getting a longer stay on primetime.
"Extended kami (We are extended)...It's unofficial but ang hinihingi sa akin ay (what they are asking from me is to stay) until March next year," lead actor Jericho Rosales said during the media conference for the movie "The Girl in the Orange Dress" for the 2018 Metro Manila Film Festival.
He said the change in schedule meant he had to change his vacation plans with wife, Kim.
"Dapat magbabakasyon na ako ng February. So we will see. Inaayos namin 'yon, naiintindihan niya naman 'yon," he said.
(I was supposed to go on vacation in February. So we will see. We're still fixing it. She understands.)
"What more can I ask for? Mayroon akong show na lahat ng cast, director, mga tao ay kaibigan ko. Masaya ako. Nangungulit kami sa set, nakikita niyo naman sa mga behind-the-scenes namin."
(I have a show where the entire cast, the director are my friends. I am happy. We have a great time on set, you can see it behind the scenes.)
Rosales, who starred in the hit series "Pangako Sa 'Yo" and "Sana'y Wala Nang Wakas", said he is proud that "Halik" has found a following.
"It's a hit show. It's better than starting another one, parang ito na naman. This one okay kami, masaya na kami, tinatrabaho na lang naming lahat," ani Jericho.
