MANILA, Philippines - American pop rock band Train arrived in Manila on Tuesday for their scheduled concert in the country.
The band's group members Patrick Monahan, Jimmy Stafford and Scott Underwood are set to rock the Smart Araneta Coliseum Wednesday.
Joining them in the said concert will be keyboard player Jerry Becker and bassist Hector Maldonado. They have been touring with the band since 2009.
According to the band's members, this is already their second time to visit the Philippines.
Stafford said, "This is our second time here. We're really happy to be back."
Train first stepped into the limelight in 1998 with the release of their self-titled debut album.
Train is behind the hit singles "Meet Virginia," "Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)", "Hey, Soul Sister," "If It's Love" and "Marry Me."
The song "Marry Me" has been used in the hit American television series "One Tree Hill."
