MANILA -- KC Concepcion thanked her parents and grandparents for teaching her to "save and invest" as she revealed to her fans that she recently bought a property with a nice view of the beach.
On Instagram, Concepcion said she learned about "delayed gratification" after acquiring the property in Palawan as an investment.
"Like every working millennial or woman in their 30s, I am continuing to learn how to take care of, grow, and move around personal finances," she said.
"My grandma, stepdad, and mom were so strict about saving up to buy property first before getting that Hermes bag," she added, referring to the pricey designer handbag.
"Yes, pressure and standards were high, but I am glad they were! Although deep inside as a girl, I wanted a bag. I learned about delayed gratification in order to afford the beach."
Concepcion went on to inspire her followers to "work smart" to achieve their dreams.
"What’s your dream? Keep busy and work smart so you too can make your dreams come true. On your own terms. And quietly, without stepping on anyone's toes. Dream big! Be kind! You can achieve it!" she said.
Concepcion has been busy with her jewelry line, Avec Moi by Kristina, which she launched early this year.
