In the first glimpse at the upcoming Marvel installment, we saw Carol Danvers also known as Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) punch an old woman inside a train.
In the second trailer, we got confirmation that the grandma is indeed a shape-shifting Skrull (the alien baddies of this movie), in addition to tons more action that includes Danvers taking the fight to space.
The new clip, which premiered this Tuesday morning (PH time), dives a bit deeper into the backstory of Larson's character, giving glimpses of her past as an ace military pilot.
There were also tidbits about how she was rescued by the Krees -- "a race of noble warrior heroes" -- how she was given superpowers, and how she got tangled into the Krees' war against the Skrulls.
Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, the filmmakers behind such revered indie dramas as "Half Nelson" and "Sugar," "Captain Marvel" is scheduled to premiere in March 2019.
