MANILA, Philippines — ABS-CBN finished the month of November as the most watched television network in the country.
The Kapamilya station was No. 1 in nationwide television viewership last month with an average audience share of 44 percent, 9 percentage points higher than GMA Network's 35 percent.
This is according to data from Kantar Media, which uses a nationwide panel size of 2,610 urban and rural homes to represent 100 percent of the country's television viewing population.
The police drama "Ang Probinsyano," which stars Coco Martin, led the way for ABS-CBN. The hit primetime series received 35.4 percent while its rival show, the rebooted fantaserye "Encantadia," only got 25.2 percent, good for seventh place.
The other top-rated shows were: "TV Patrol" (32.2 percent), "Wansapanataym" (28.7 percent),"Pinoy Boyband Superstar" (27.3 percent) and "Home Sweetie Home" (26.6 percent).
ABS-CBN also led the morning block at 40 percent, noontime at 44 percent, and afternoon at 44 percent. It was also the most watched network in Luzon (47 percent), Visayas (53 percent), and Mindanao (53 percent), according to Kantar Media.
