MANILA -- It's official: Asia's Got Talent (AGT) finalist Gerphil Flores confirmed on Wednesday that she will be part of the Asian tour of "David Foster and Friends" in 2016.
In an interview with ABS-CBNNews.com, Flores said it's a dream do come true for her to work with Foster, who was one of the judges of the pan-Asian talent contest.
I used to have the DVDs ng mga David Foster and Friends concerts at nangangarap lang ako na sana someday I would be able to share stage with these big artists in the music industry. Apparently it is and I'm very thankful for that," Flores said.
Flores said she will be join the international concert tour starting March next year.
"Abroad na po 'yon. Mayroon pong Thailand," said Flores, who will be sharing stage with international artists like Nicole Scherzinger and Natalie Imbruglia.
Flores said she wants to promote classical music in the concert tour.
Flores first hinted that she will be doing a project with Foster last June.
But before that, Flores will have her first solo concert "A Golden Treasure" on December 11 at The Theatre at Solaire.
"Makikita nila ang different side ni Gerphil. This time hindi lang classical, hindi lang Broadway, mayroon ding popular songs at dance number. 'Yan abangan nila," she said.
