MANILA -- It may have been an occasion for celebration but actress Andi Eigenmann could not hold back her tears during the red-carpet premiere of her new film "When the Love is Gone."

Earlier Tuesday, Eigenmann vented her frustration on Twitter over reports alleging that she has reconciled with her former boyfriend.

At the movie premiere that night, Eigenmann was besieged by the media to personally address rumors that she has been going out again with an unnamed ex.

Eigenmann said she understands that part of being a celebrity is sharing some facets of her personal life but the actress cried foul with the new rumors.

"I'm in showbiz and I'm an actress, naiintindihan ko naman po 'yon. It's just sometimes they say things that hurt me because it hurts the people that I love," she explained.

The actress admitted that her relationship with rumored boyfriend Jake Ejercito, the son of Manila Mayor Joseph "Erap" Estrada, has been affected by such gossip, although she believes that they will be able to solve their problems.

On Tuesday morning, via her official Twitter account, Eigenmann express her anger over reports alleging that she has reconciled with her former boyfriend.

In series of tweets on Tuesday, Eigenmann stressed that she will never ever get back with her former boyfriend.

"Yes, I vomit. This rumor makes me do so. I won't even be affected if only it's not affecting someone that actually matters to me," she added.

Many believe that the blind items are referring to actor Albie Casiño, the father of Eigenmann's daughter Ellie.

"I'm not dumb enough to get back with someone who never did me any good. As for having Ellie? That's a present from God. For me, only for me. As much as it hurts, was never ashamed to tell the world how much I care for @unoemilio. Accept that I believe that he's the only one for me," added Eigenmann, referring to Ejercito.

"I love my job. I love being in this industry. It's beautiful. But it's hard not to talk when it's affecting my personal life too," she added.
