The Top 10 contestants of the ninth season of “The Voice” in the United States have finally been named, and Filipino-American singer Amy Vachal is part of it.
This after Evan McKeel from Team Pharrell was sent home after failing to impress the audience with his “instant save” performance of "Let's Stay Together."
Aside from Vachal, the artists who made it to the next round are Braiden Sunshine, Zach Seabaugh, Jordan Smith, Madi Davis, Emily Ann Roberts, Jeffery Austin, Barrett Baber and Shelby Brown.
On Monday (Tuesday in Manila), Vachal impressed “The Voice” judges when she performed a cover of Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space” in her distinct style.
Next week, the Top 10 contestants will take the stage anew and their individual performances will be America’s basis in deciding which contestant to send home next.
After the Top 9, another round of eliminations will take place with five artists to be booted off the competition. From there, the final four artists will compete to become the winner of “The Voice” season nine.
