MANILA, Philippines - Asia's Diamond Soul Siren Nina admitted that she misses performing with her group on ABS-CBN's musical variety show, "ASAP Rocks."

In an interview during the launch of her new album on Tuesday, Nina said she is looking forward to being part of ASAP Sessionistas again.

"'Yun, medyo niluluto pa 'yung date [ng pagbabalik ko], for the launch [of my album] and everything, kung ano ang mahalaga," she said.

Nina explained that she left the group to prepare for "Stay Alive," her newest album.

"Totoo talaga kasi nag-prepare talaga ako. Gusto ko talaga na pati ang katawan ko ay pinrepare ko para sa pictorial. Para fit ako for the dance. Nasakto din na may show ako out of town, tapos ito ngang album," she said.

She also reiterated that there is no rift between her and the other members of ASAP Sessionistas.

"Hindi, hindi talaga. Matagal na 'yang isyung 'yan. Walang alita," she said.

Asked if it is true that she is planning to move to another network, Nina replied, "'Yun nga, parang pinag-uusapan. No definite answer for that. Hindi naman lilipat, parang ang mangyayari, magkakaroon ng show doon."

New album

Nina, known for her pop/RnB music, shares her different side in "Stay Alive."

"Kasi nga that's a side of me that people don't know. Kasi ang nakikita nila, laging nakaupo, malungkot. At konti lang ang nakakaalam na I can dance. So parang tsunami itself sa kanila na I also love to dance," she said.

The album's carrier single, aptly titled "Dance," is an upbeat track. "You Should Know," on the other hand, is an original composition which features singer-songwriter Keith Martin.

Also included here are songs "Staying Alive," "However Much Love," "Believe in the Dream," "Laging Ikaw," "Only With You," "I Came to Dance," "I Don't Want to Fight," "Starlight," "Missing You" and "Hagkan."
