MANILA -- Singer Ronnie Liang celebrated his 12th anniversary in the music industry with the sold-out concert "Love x Romance," which was held last November 8 at the Music Museum.
The "Ngiti" singer and former "Pinoy Dream Academy" finalist serenaded fans with his renditions of "Basta’t Kasama Kita," "Nandito Ako," and "Ikaw."
He also had his production numbers with guest performers Ella Cruz and Janine Tenoso.
But it was his powerful duet with special guest, Sarah Geronimo, that brought the house down.
Aside from singing "Shallow" from the movie "A Star is Born," they also performed their original duet “Liwanag,” composed by Marlon Barnuevo, which is now available on Spotify and other digital platforms.
On stage, Geronimo praised Liang, saying: “Kapag magkaka-anak ako, gusto ko kamukha ni Ronnie Liang. Ang gwapo na, ang ganda pa ng boses. Walang halong biro po ‘yun.”
For his part, Liang replied: “I’m very grateful kay Sarah G for agreeing to be a guest in my concert. She’s always very kind and humble. Lagi niya akong pinupuri. Coming from her di ba, I feel so honored. Sinabi ko talaga noon kay Boss Vic (del Rosario of Viva) na gusto ko siyang makasama sa concert ko at eto na nga, nangyari na and it’s a dream come true for me.”
Aside from his collaboration with Geronimo, Liang also released a new song titled "Sa Paskong Darating."
