MANILA - A father of two from Quezon City is the latest addition to Sarah Geronimo's team on the second season of "The Voice of the Philippines."
Mark Douglas Dagal, 34, is a full-time musician, who also tried working abroad as an overseas Filipino worker (OFW). However, he decided to return to the Philippines to be with his family.
Dagal admitted that he joined the TV contest so he doesn't have to leave his family again.
On the show's episode on Sunday, Dagal performed Stevie Wonder's "Superstition," prompting Geronimo and Bamboo to turn for him.
"You know, I've done shows with Stevie Wonder, and so I guess I've heard the original, and I think it just lack, more gigil," apl.de.ap said.
Geronimo, who admitted that she doesn't have the likes of Dagal yet on her team, tried to convince him to chose her team.
Itutulak kita, ganoon ka-simple lang," Bamboo said.
So please give me the chance," Geronimo told Dagal.
Dagal eventually chose to be part of Team Sarah.
