MANILA, Philippines - Star for all Seasons and Batangas Governor Vilma Santos is set to play an important role in the grand finale of the ABS-CBN television series “100 Days to Heaven.”
Santos said she's thrilled to be a part of the top-rated prime time television show.
“Malaking-malaking bagay sa akin dahil unang-una, alam naman natin kung gaano karami ang milyong nanood ng ‘100 Days to Heaven,’ so malaking karangalan for me na mapili para maging isang guest nito," she said.
To ensure Santos' participation in the project, the production team of the TV series shot her scenes in the province of Batangas.
“Para ma-accomodate lang, dito na sa Batangas kinunan. But again, God is good, natapos namin. I’m excited too na guest ako dito kasi pinagmamalaking teleserye ito," she shared.
According to Santos, she is an avid follower of “100 Days to Heaven." Her best friend, Coney Reyes, is one of the stars in the series.
Despite her busy schedule, Santos said she still finds time to watch the show.
She also admitted that she is a fan of child star, Xyriel Manabat, who plays the character of Reyes when she was still young.
“Xyriel is a good, good child actress,” she said.
This week is the final week of “100 Days to Heaven.”
The show airs weeknights after “TV Patrol” on ABS-CBN Channel 2. –Report from Ernie Manio, ABS-CBN News
