MANILA - Cinema One originals 2015 is screening a restored version of Ishmael Bernal's film ''Ikaw Ay Akin'' on Saturday.
The classic stars Nora Aunor, Vilma Santos and Christopher de Leon.
The film follows the story of horticulturist Teresita (Aunor) whose relationship with Rex (de Leon) is threatened when Santos' character enters their lives.
Aside from the Bernal film, Cinema One will also be screening a new film entitled ''Salvage'' starring Jessy Mendiola and JC de Vera.
The Sherad Anthony Sanchez film is about a group of reporters investigating a spate of alleged ''aswang'' killings in a remote province who find that there's more to things than they seem.
The films will be screened at Trinoma. ''Ikaw Ay Akin'' screens at 7:15 p.m. while ''Salvage'' follows at 9:55 p.m.
