In their music video for "If You're Over Me," Years & Years frontman Olly Alexander plays an cabaret entertainer who had the android overlords of the fictional society Palo Santo -- cyborgs craving to feel emotion -- applauding and smiling at his every move.
With the announcement that Alexander's British electronic pop trio is coming to Manila next year, Filipino fans won't have to travel far to experience the same amazing act.
Years & Years will be bringing their 2019 tour promoting their second album, "Palo Santo," to the Kia Theatre in Cubao, Quezon City on February 25, as part of its Asian leg.
Tickets will go on sale starting November 22, according to organizer MMI Live, which also posted a video message from Alexander for their fans across the region on Facebook this Tuesday.
Years & Years is best known for old favorites like "King" and "Shine," off their massively successful debut album, "Communion."
They released their sophomore effort, "Palo Santo," this year and it has been well-received by critics for its exploration of masculinity and queerness.
