A family that appears ideal on the surface shows its cracks with secrets hidden and feelings pent up in the trailer of “Three Words to Forever” released on Friday.
The Star Cinema movie sees the big-screen reunion of Sharon Cuneta and Richard Gomez, and the rare solo outing of Kathryn Bernardo apart from her perennial love team and real-life boyfriend Daniel Padilla.
The film directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina centers on three generations of a family who, based on the trailer, get together for the 25th wedding anniversary of the couple portrayed by Cuneta and Gomez.
Their daughter, Tin (Bernardo), arrives with her boyfriend Kyle (Tommy Esguerra), and appears clueless that her parents no longer sleep on the same bed.
Her grandparents Cito (Freddie Web) and Tinay (Liza Lorena), meanwhile, are seemingly in a good place, but one’s controlling streak to look after the other’s health slowly drives a wedge between them.
“Three Words to Forever” is Star Cinema’s latest offering in the vein of hit family-centric movies like “Four Sister and a Wedding” and “Seven Sundays.”
It’s set to be released in cinemas nationwide on November 28.
