MANILA - "I think I'm moving to Paris."

These were the words of "The Voice of the Philippines" coach after hearing Filipino-French Vanessa Monot perform during the blind auditions of the competition's second season.

Monot, who hails from Paris, France, managed to earn a spot in the next round with her cover of Yeng Constantino's "Pangarap Lang." She will be part of the team of coach Sarah Geronimo -- the only coach who turned for Monot.

"To me, it just needed a little more control," explained The singer-producer, however, appeared to regret his decision after facing Monot.

He then joined the singer onstage. "Wait lang, puwedeng may tingan lang ako," said, before checking the back of Monot.

"I just wanted to check if you were made in heaven," he quipped.

Monot was then asked to sing a song in French. She gamely agreed and even dedicated it to the Black Eyed Peas member. "Para to kay coach [] kasi binigyan niya ako ng flowers."

Geronimo then commended Monot: "Nakikinig ako sa mga comments nila all about control. We will work on it. And excited ako para sa iyo." again joked: "I'm going to steal her from you, Sarah." To which the coach Lea Salonga replied: "Baka naman ang dahilan ng pag-steal mo eh hindi dahil gusto mong i-coach."
