MANILA—"May sakit ka ba?"
That's a question TV host Billy Crawford gets a lot nowadays, given his surprisingly leaner figure, a positive result, he said, of his decision to finally cut out alcohol from his life.
On "Tonight With Boy Abunda" Wednesday, Crawford explained that his weight reaching 235 pounds at one point, and seeing his addiction to drinking worsen — he said that he was finishing whole bottles of hard liquor in one night — prompted the lifestyle change.
He added that he had begun to take his health seriously because of his dream of becoming a father, and credits the support of his wife, Coleen Garcia, for helping him achieve his ideal weight.
He also denied being a drug addict, a claim many online have made about his drastic weight loss.
