The lead stars of “Justice League” are inviting Filipino moviegoers to go and see their upcoming superhero film, which opens in theaters next week.
In a special clip released online, Ezra Miller, who plays The Flash, greeted their fans in Tagalog before he and his co-stars Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa and Ray Fisher talked about their respective roles.
Affleck said the film will show the evolution of Batman, inspired by Superman’s sacrifice in their last movie together. “He’s moved on from lone vigilante to recruiter,” he said.
Gadot, for her part, shared that Wonder Woman has already established a good relationship with Batman and “in a way, they are perfect partners.”
Together, Batman and Wonder Woman will work to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat.
Miller will portray Barry Allen, who gets superpowers after being hit by a bolt of lightning, while Momoa is Aquaman, who is the heir to the throne of Atlantis but resists that title and the responsibility that comes with it.
Fisher plays Cyborg, a digital and physical tank and able to interface with any form of technology with just a thought.
All five form an unprecedented league of heroes.
"Justice League" opens in Philippine theaters on November 16.
