Vhong Navarro falls in love with "Betty"

Actor-comedian Vhong Navarro said that television viewers will enjoy more of ABS-CBN's hit television series "I Love Betty La Fea" with actress Bea Alonzo as 'Betty.'

Navarro plays the character of ‘Nicolas,’ the good-hearted nerd best buddy of "Betty". He said that the series' storyline is becoming more exciting as more revelations and twists are about to happen.

Dubbed as the Prince of Comedy, Navarro said that people should not miss the upcoming episodes especially his scenes with Alonzo.

He revealed that he will become closer to "Betty" as he falls in love with his best friend.

In an earlier interview with abs-cbnNEWS.com, Navarro shared happiness to be part of the series and promised that his fans and viewers will definitely love his role.

"Sobrang saya dahil isa ako sa mapalad na makasama dito sa "Betty La Fea" dahil alam ko marami ang nag-aabang nito," Navarro said.

My Only U

The dancer-comedian turned out to be an instant heartthrob with his latest movie "My Only U" with former screen partner Toni Gonzaga. Navarro expressed his appreciation to all the moviegoers who watched their film and also applauded his leading lady Gonzaga for her acting.

"Ang nangyari talaga doon ay inalagaan ako ni direk Cathy Garcia Molina, ang ganda ng mga shots ni direk. At ang galing dito ni Toni sa movie. Ako nagulat ako kay Toni kasama ko siya sa Wazzup pero dito nakita ko na actress si Toni," Navarro said.

Aside from “My Only U,” Navarro is also set to do a new movie "Spirit Warriors" with Director Roño.
He will also do another film with a Malaysian director that they will shoot in Taiwan.

Navarro also said that he is preparing for the return of his superhero character "Lastikman."
The comedian is also busy promoting his newest album dance album under Star Records entitled "Vhong Navarro and the Streetboys: Let’s Dance!"

Navarro started his career as a member of the dance group "Street Boys". He was then discovered by Director Chito Roño, who continues to serve as his manager. He is well-known for his movies "Mr. Suave," "Gagamboy" and "Supapahlicious."

Navarro is a regular performer of ABS-CBN's weekly variety show "ASAP '08."

Navarro is father to two sons Frederick Vhong Navarro and Isaiah Vhong Navarro.
