MANILA – Toni Gonzaga thanked Jolina Magdangal on Sunday for serving as her inspiration since she began her showbiz career.
During Magdangal’s first live interview on “The Buzz” on Sunday, Gonzaga shared how she would watch the returning Kapamilya star in awe during her concerts in the 1990s.
I got a chance to work with her sa front act sa mga concert niya.
Gonzaga said even her father told her before to be like Magdangal when she makes it in showbiz.
Sinabi ng dad ko 'yan,” she said.
After Magdangal’s live guesting, Gonzaga immediately posted a picture of the two of them on her Instagram account.
In the caption, Gonzaga said: “Welcome home Ms. Jolina! Thank you for being an inspiration.”
Magdangal officially marked her return to ABS-CBN by signing a two-year contract with the Kapamilya network on Wednesday.
Magdangal’s first project is the soap “Flordeliza” with her original love team partner, Marvin Agustin, who is also making a comeback as a Kapamilya.
Magdangal said she is excited to be part of ABS-CBN again after 12 years.
