MANILA, Philippines -- Only a week after the exit of the "phenomenal" series "Walang Hanggan," two of ABS-CBN's primetime offerings are now neck and neck in the nationwide ratings game.

"Ina, Kapatid, Anak" and "Princess and I" are in a tug of war to take the No. 1 spot in the list of top-rating shows nationwide, according to the latest TV ratings data from Kantar Media.

Last Monday (October 29), the Kathryn Bernardo-starrer was only second to the series starring Kim Chiu and Maja Salvador, with 33% compared to the latter's 33.7% in nationwide TV rating.

The soap partly set in the fictional Kingdom of Yangdon airs before "Ina, Kapatid, Anak," which took the timeslot of the top-rating series "Walang Hanggan."

On October 30, "Princess and I" bounced back as the No. 1 series on primetime, with 33.7% versus the Kim Chiu series' 33.2%.

On daytime TV, meanwhile, ABS-CBN's "Be Careful With My Heart" continues to be the undisputed No. 1 most watched program, according to Kantar Media.

The Jodi Sta. Maria-starrer earned 25.1% in nationwide TV rating last Tuesday (October 31). Its closest competitor, GMA-7's "Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga," came in at a distant second with 15.8% on the same day.
