Will John Lloyd Cruz be back on "Home Sweetie Home?"
His co-star, Toni Gonzaga, tried to calm worries from their fans and insisted that he'll return to the weekend sitcom after his leave from showbiz.
"Show naman niya talaga ito," Gonzaga, who plays the wife of Cruz's character, told Pep. "At kung ready na siya, 'pag na-settle na niya ang personal matters na kailangan asikasuhin, eventually siguro."
For now, Gonzaga explained that the show will continue as normal. "Hangga't walang sinasabi ang management, tuloy-tuloy naman ang taping namin," she said.
"So far, we're just taking it one day at a time. 'Pag may script, may call time, go pa rin kami."
"Home Sweetie Home" recently added Piolo Pascual and Rufa Mae Quinto to its cast.
Pascual, who has been Gonzaga's co-star in films such as the recent "Last Night," plays a chef whose wife went abroad. He's still waiting for his papers so that he can follow suit.
"Home Sweetie Home" has been on-air since 2014.
