MANILA, Philippines - Boxing champion Manny Pacquiao has denied a report saying that his wife, Jinkee Pacquiao, has filed for annulment.
"Not true," Pacquiao said when asked about a report that Jinkee will not watch her husband's November 12 fight against Juan Manuel Marquez after learning that the "Pambansang Kamao" allegedly had an affair.
In an interview, Pacquiao said his wife will be in Las Vegas on November 6th.
Last week, Jinkee said rumors of Pacquiao's alleged infidelity are a distraction to her husband, who is now busy preparing for his fight.
Jinkee said that after the controversy involving Pacquiao and actress Krista Ranillo, she is now confident that her husband will remain loyal and will not stray.
To show her support, Jinkee said she will watch her husband's fight with Marquez. She will also have a business meeting with hotel heiress and socialite Paris Hilton.
Two weeks ago, Jinkee appeared to have backed off from her dare to give an Hermès bag to anyone who can present proof that Pacquiao has another woman. Steve Angeles, ABS-CBN News Los Angeles.
