MANILA—He's willing to do a project with Yassi Pressman. Same with Liza Soberano. Also with Kathryn Bernardo.
But according to James Reid, during an interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda," he'd rather avoid the "noise" that appears to hound one when being paired with Julia Barretto.
Reid, who was once romantically linked with Barretto, said: "I have no problem with her at all. It's just that there's too much noise [when it comes to fans]. Let's make life easy."
The question came at a time when Barretto finds herself in one side of a much-talked about feud between her mother, Marjorie, and sisters Gretchen and Claudine.
In the same interview, Reid was also asked whether he'd approve of girlfriend Nadine Lustre working with other actors.
Among the names included were Joshua Garcia, Arjo Atayde, Coco Martin, Daniel Padilla, and Gerald Anderson.
He was only iffy about Martin, but explained that he just cannot imagine at the moment a project to fit both of them. He did acknowledge that it has always been Lustre's dream to do action movies.
